Founder/CEO Jason Sandsness
I grew up in Winona MN spending most of my childhood in Lake Village trailer court. If you looked outside that would always be the best way to find me. I was always outside as soon as the sun came up playing all different type of sports like football, basketball, baseball, fishing going on outdoor adventures like hiking, camping, swimming and ice skating on the lake. Currently live in Clairemont area where the weather never drops below 0!
After I graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1996 I enlisted in the U.S NAVY. Through out my 14 + years I flew as a In-flight Technician, a crew chief and at the age of 25 I became the first ever active duty Load Master instructor in U.S Navel history. Ten years into my career I started getting debilitating migraines and was no longer able to continue flying. A couple of my favorite memories was while I was deployed on the the Lake Champlain Ship. The helicopter was having malfunctions with 3 major systems which would not allow the mission to continue. They were going to shut down for the rest of the day but I asked them if I could take a look first. After 10-15 minutes I was able to fix all 3 systems and they took back off. Not more than 20 minutes later they found 52 refugees stranded in the middle of the ocean with one of the systems that I was able to fix. Was a total team effort. On September 11, 2001 I was Lead In-Flight Technician on a Boeing 707 at the age of 22. Completing our mission and controlling airborne communications for our country as we were the only aircraft airborne within the continental United States.
After serving in the Navy I decided to enroll in Bio-medical engineering at DeVry University. Unfortunately, yet fortunately, the program was terminated and I wasn't sure what I was going to do. I knew I wanted to help people so I decided to try acupuncture. Come to find out the school would only accept 56 out of my 200+ credit so I would have to do a term of massage first. That is where the journey began. In 2011, I found my passion and my journey began.

My childhood was filled with entrepreneur experiences by observing and learning from my parents. Foot massages were my job and the form of payment was ice cream! My father would pay me fifty cents for a ten-minute massage, or until the ice cream truck would come down the street. I remember watching and listening to my mother help people live a healthier life by supplementing herbs, vitamins, or explaining the benefits of a change in diet. Therefore, teaching me the valuable life skill of working for the things I want in my life (which was ice cream at the time).
Currently live in Escondido, CA for last seven years. I moved down from Signal Hill and previously Humboldt County where I was studying Biology at Humboldt State University. I began to struggle to find purpose in my life. I knew something wasn’t right. Together the magical experiences of a joyful childhood and learning early business skills, I rediscovered the desire and passion of helping people. Now, this passion has multiplied over the course of over thirty years to alleviate pain and stress in animals and humans alike by pursuing massage therapy.
Living up in Humboldt County, I began to get out into nature much more by hiking & camping. All my life music has been a huge part of my life singing in a choir, playing guitar or fiddling around on my keyboard and dancing. While attending Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, my choir traveled and performed shows in Southern California.
So now with my bright, spunky, and beautiful 6-year-old, together we love to play music, have dance parties in our living room, have tea parties and hike in the redwoods or here in San Diego. We love the tranquility of being outdoors in nature. You may even catch us doing yoga on the beach!

Additionally, to attending PCOM & Healing Hands of Holistic Health, another modality I have ascertained is Biodynamic Craniosacral; a super beneficial modality that listens to the nervous system while assisting the body to heal itself.
